This is an homage to the film, The Red Violin. A young woman painted in shades of golden cream instead of flesh tones to keep the focus on the red violin and her eyes. Her green eyes and slightly pink lips are the only things accented with color. The shimmering black and red abstract background gives the feeling of a theatre curtain.
